Korean Level 1 Textbook, 2nd Edition (Revised & Enlarged) - Bilingual Korean & English Language Learning Book by Seoul National University | Perfect for Beginners, Self-Study & Classroom Use

After 8 months of studying on my own with apps, websites, videos, and podcasts I decided I needed more. I browsed around for the best textbook while also trying to find the cheapest of the best. Seoul National University is ofcourse very refutable and they have several series that I kept seeing mentioned. This book is super useful, I don't have the cd for audio either. I do recommend learning hangul before attempting any Korean textbook, but if you know it then it's great. Each chapter is about 3 pages, I do 2 chapters a week. They start with a short dialogue that is translated at the bottom with the vocab words. The rest are exercises to make sure you understand through repetition. After I complete a chapter I go about my day repeating the dialogue to memorize, this is key if you don't have the cd. It's been super helpful so far. I'm hoping to be at intermediate level in 6 months. I bought it used for 80cents with $5 shipping, if you can get it that cheap buy it. Then there's no harm giving it a try. Keep in mind this is a $100 textbook new from the University.
