This American couple had registered for the international adoption of a very young girl, but instead they were suddenly presented with an eight year old boy, and there were amusing and touching challenges on both sides. But it all worked out in love, and the grown boy joined in the writing of this book. A wonderful study of developing appreciation and understanding between people from very different cultures. This could serve as a heartening handbook for facing differences in the modern world.
